Disneyland parks
Disneyland Resort Paris, a resort complex near Paris, France. Operating since April 12, 1992, it was the second Disney resort to open outside the United States and the first to be owned and operated by Disney Company. Disneyland Resort Paris features two theme parks, an entertainment district including Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park opened on March 16th 2002, and seven Disney-owned hotels. Also located there, Golf Disneyland comprising a 9-hole course and a 18-hole course. With 15.3 million visitors in 2008, it is a European’s leading tourist destination.
Disneyland Resort is a theme park in Anaheim, California, and was the first property to have this name. It is a recreational resort complex, which opened in 1955. The resort is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through. There are two theme parks: Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure; three hotels and a shopping, dining, and entertainment area. In the domain it is possible to use Disney’s currency: the Disney Dollar, which is equivalent to the American one.
Disney world which is the second park created by the Disney Company. It opened its doors in 1971 in Orlando, Florida. Disney World is an immense complex which accounts 4 thematic parks and 2 aquatic parks:
- Disney Magic Kingdom: is a world of whim and tales for all. The park is divided into 7 parts.
- Epcot: a journey through future and the discovery of the cultures of the world. The park is divided into two topics: Future world and World showcase
Disney MGM Studios: Replica of cinema studios, big boulevards, and diverse attractions.
- Disney Animal Kingdom: the world of animals in prehistoric version, African savannah, mystery of the Southeast Asia, fauna and exotic flora.
-Disney Blizzard Beach: This has for subject the snow, with some of the highest water slides of the world and a wave swimming pool and tobbogans.
- Typhoon Lagoon: subject of the Tropical Paradise, with slides in tunnel, free dive with cliff, immense wave swimming pool and descent of river by boat
And finally:
- Downtown Disney: with the section Marketplace and its shops, the section west Side where is among others the theatre and Disney Pleasure Island for adults only
Tokyo Disneyland, a theme park in Urayasu, near Tokyo, Japan
It was the first Disney Park to be built outside of the United States and it opened on April 15, 1983. The park was constructed by Walt Disney Imagineering in the same style as Disneyland in California and the Magic Kingdom in Florida. It is owned by The Oriental Land Company, which licenses the theme from The Walt Disney Company. It, along with its companion park, Tokyo DisneySea, is the only Disney parks not owned by The Walt Disney Company. It consists of several "ports" allowing discovering a region of the world .There are seven uniquely themed areas or "ports of call". The entrance to the park is Mediterranean Harbor, which opens up to six more nautically themed ports: American Waterfront, Lost River Delta, Port Discovery, Mermaid Lagoon, Arabian Coast, and Mysterious Island. Those seven themed areas, each complementing each other are yet unique in their style. Made up of the World Bazaar, the four classic Disney lands: Adventureland, Western land, Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, and two mini lands, Critter Country and Mickey's Toontown, the park is noted for its huge open spaces to accommodate the massive crowds. In 2007, Tokyo Disneyland hosted approximately 13.9 million guests, ranking it as the third-most visited theme park in the world, behind its American sister parks, the Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, a resort complex in Hong Kong, on the island of Lantau. It opened on September the 12th of 2005. It counts a theme park, two hotels, a leisure center and a commercial zone that is not already built. For moves: Disney Resort Line serving of connection to Hong Kong underground and Disneyland Resort Pier a wharf for ferry serving the cities of Hong Kong and Kowloon.
