Eye of the North, the end of a period


gwenEye of the North is situated on the lands of Tyria, in zones to there not visited. The story which interests us is situated some years after the events of the previous episodes.

Earthquakes occur almost everywhere in the world of Tyria. Cracks appear. Ancient graves and passages dug by the dwarfs (who an one will help our heroes) for centuries open suddenly. During an exploration of routine, our heroes are going to meet themselves confronted with the evil to there unknown, safe in the ancient dwarf predictions of the Rubicon : the Destroyers. So, this chapter is there to detail the history of the Dwarfs, already well begun with the former opuses.

This chapter also introduces the history of Norns, these huge warriors comenorns from the cold who are not without reminding the Vikings. Norns, at first cheerful to learn the existence of the Destroyers, for whom they well plan to make their privileged hunting, eventually realize the true threat which they represent. Asuras, is too directly threatened by the arrival with base monsters. Their portals of teleportation, buried asurasunderground, and their Golems will be a precious asset in the battle against the Destroyers. Remain to persuade these “strong heads” to join the battle.

But all these troops will not be sufficient to stop the Big Destroyer and its army. The Ebon Vanguard, led by our dear Gwen met in Prophecies, is a unity of elite of the army of Ascalon. Its purpose is to kill the threat Charr “in the egg” by beginning operations of sabotage on their territory. But before counting on their help, it will be necessary to give to them a small help...
