South Park

In the center of colorado, at an elevation of 8,500 feet, lies a beautiful valley, surrounded on all sides by majestic mountain ranges. The valley, lush with vegetation and supplied by water for the North, Middle and South forks of the South platte River, supported huge herdsof game and colonies of smaller animals, such as beaver, muskrat, atter and bobcat. On the midst of this bounty, the Ute Indian mda his summer camp. he successfully battled Cheyenne, Arapahoe and Comanche for exclusive possession of his domain.

Manitou cliff dwellings

This preserve was first opened to the public in 1907 and represents some of the finest architecture of the Anasazi culture, acquirzed throughout the Four corners area of Colorado and New Mexico.

Red Rocks Amphitheatre is not just a concert destination, but also a favorite spot for locals and tourists to enjoy amazing Colorado scenery.  Red Rocks has also become a popular site for runners and those looking for a challenging workout at 6,400 feet.
