Val d'Isère World Championship .
All the best skiers from all over the world have tried to win a medal in this World Championship in France (Savoie).
From February 2nd to February 15th, a lot of national teams have fought in the slopes.
The World Alpine Skiing Championships were organized over a two-week period.
Contrary to the World Cup circuit which includes several races and ranks skiers according to their overall results of the whole season, the World Championships awards its titles based on the results of one slalom, giant slalom, super G, super combined or downhill race.
Some races were done at other resorts, but the most of the races were done at Val-d'Isère, and the competitors were hosted at Val d'Isère.
